HISTORY
1870-1960:

Family members of DEMİRELLER involves in the production of various steel made components in Trabzon, TURKEY. At the time, they carry out production of various units such as shovels, rifles according to market demand. After 1920's, as a result of prohibition of rifle production, weighing machines become the essential entry for the production.

1961:

Former president, Bilal DEMİREL, comes to Adapazarı, TURKEY and continues of the weighing machines. In 1963, younger brother Osman DEMİREL, and in 1967 elder brother Hasan DEMİREL join the business. They start attending various types of national construction bids. Water tanks, knead doughing machines, trailers, garbage disposal, units are some of the products built by the company.

 

1970:

The youngest brother, Mahmut DEMİREL, joins the managament board. As a result of increased demand in automotive spare parts such as cardan shafts & and components, tractor seats, tractor fenders, etc. Foundation of DMS automotive industry division becomes necessary.

1979:

DEMİRELLER Makine San. ve Tic. A.Ş. enters in the commercial register as Joint Stock Company.

1990:

After existing opportunities to attend national bids for coach refurbishment operations, company decides to establish new division and construct new facility. Later on, this division enters in the commercial register as limited company called DEMİRELLER Raylı Taşıtlar San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. Company produces bogies, generator coaches, realroad freight cars, metro cars and carries out refurbishment operations of different types of coaches such as pullman coaches, suburban coaches, restaurant coaches, etc.

1998:

DMS decides to be active in the feild of Hometextile. Company was transformed into DEMİRELLER Makine-Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.Ş. In 2010, the division enters in the commercial register as limited company called DEMİRELLER Tekstil San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti.

2003:

DMS together with three partners acquires BAŞAK Traktör İş ve Tarım Makinaları San. ve Tic. A.Ş. In 2012, the company sells its shares to SANKO.
